Where is the album Normani?

Normani gushed over her dream collaborations in a recent interview with Hot Radio Maine. Her picks were Rihanna, Beyoncé, Doja Cat and Rosalia. *yawns*

These younger artists lack musical depth and it shows when they pick the same artists when asked about collaborations. Fortunately for Normani, that isn’t stopping her from being one of the most talked about artists of the year.

The Cardi B assisted single single Wild Side just debuted at #14 on the Hot 100, and it will probably chart higher if Normani actually promotes it. She’s been doing lots of radio promo but this is not 2002 anymore. Where are the live performances?

The bigger question: Where is the album?

It’s apparent that her label isn’t gun-ho about backing her since she had to invest money into her latest music video. However, Normani’s quick rise on the charts after a two year hiatus should assure the label that she can be invested in. I don’t know y’all… I smell a sour case of sabotage.

Camila must know people working in high places.

Noname keeps it real in new song "Rainforest"

Rapper and social justice activist Noname releases a new song "Rainforest" from her upcoming album Factory Baby due later this year. The production is smooth as bourbon and the lyrics are real as being black in America. No, seriously. Give it a listen after the break.

Lil Nas X exposes 6ix9ine for sliding in his DMs after homophobic comment

Old Town Road rapper Lil Nas X had time today.  It all began when the infamously messy DJ Akademics shared a screen shot of an article regarding China making CO-VID anal swabs mandatory for foreigners on his Instagram. Rapper 6ix9ine took no time to comment “Lil Nas X has entered the chat.” Moments later, Lil Nas X clapped back with a TikTok video dancing alongside a screenshot of 6ix9ine in his DMs last month on Instagram.

Jawan x Tiffany give off R&B royalty vibes in new music video "Finally"

Jawan x Tiffany's new single Finally is out.  I had low expectations for the It's Bankhead directed music video because budgets are everything in today's era and a cheap music video can ruin a good song.
